A group of adventurers head to Mexico's Forbidden Valley and capture a prehistoric monster that they put in a circus show. The creature soon escapes and wreaks bloody revenge on its captors in this re-working of the King Kong style film - notable for the use of Ray Harryhausen's Dynamation stop-motion technique.
