Don Siegel directs this classic Western. Elvis Presley stars as Pacer Burton, the son of white rancher Sam Burton (John McIntire) and Kiowa Indian Neddy (Dolores del Rio), who finds himself caught between the settlers and the Kiowas when his mother's people go on the warpath. Attempting to act as peacemaker, Pacer only becomes embroiled further in the violence.
