MUNCIE Clay style Green Large Vegetable Bowl, marked 1A7, c1920s, very good condition. RARE, there is a small chip in the cover handle noticed in one of the pictures, priced accordingly, 8 1/2" tall by 12" handle to handle. Muncie Clay Products Company was established by Charles Benham in Muncie, Indiana, in 1922. The company made pottery for the florist and giftshop trade. The company closed by 1939. Pieces are marked with the name Muncie or just with a system of numbers and letters, like 1A. Muncie used matte, high, and drip glazes. [TEAPOTAREA11]
