Will this pump still stay in automatic mode after the 3 loops of dry cycles (standby mode)?
Yes. The 3 loops only happen when the pump can't detect incoming water, but if inlet water stays all the time and without output water, the automatic function works all the time. So you don't need to physically press the power button again.
Which type of suction hose is recommended?
Spiral hose is recommended. Hose diameter is 1" or larger, length in less than 50ft, and also with a check valve at the end (which should also be reinforced and will not be deformed by its suction power). Please search: B095GLP3SR in our store.
What do these three indicator lights represent?
1. Green light up: The device is powered on. 2. Yellow light up: The pump is in working condition. 3. Red light up continuously: Dry running protection; Red light flash: The pump switches off (standby mode).
