This is ONE STYLISH PAIR OF EARRINGS! This is an ORIGINAL VINTAGE PAIR of EARRINGS that was made in the RETRO STYLE during the LATE 1940s. They are handmade from 18K YELLOW & WHITE GOLD and are stamped 750. These earrings are convertible…You can remove the cone drops and wear only the hoops. The balls are set with 72 BRILLIANT CUT DIAMONDS of G - H color, VS to SI clarity that weigh approx. 2.16 ctw. These diamonds are in the .02 - .04 ct range. The white gold on the ball has what looks like a light gray anodize, but I do not know the actual process used to achieve this light gray color. The metal may also be platinum instead of white gold, but I do not want to test it as it will damage it.
The earrings measure 2-7/16” long and the hoops alone are 11/16” in diameter. The balls measure 7/16” in diameter (12.30 mm) and the total weight is 20.9 grams. The hoops and cone are hollow, but with a solid feel. The gold cones have minor areas of wear/light surface scratches that can only be seen with close up inspection. Additionally, you can see a small gold seam from the making of the cones, but this too is minor and not facing the front. These last two statements are for accuracy only and they do not detract from the earrings beauty and quality. ONE OF A KIND…ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS...ANOTHER PAIR I WANT TO KEEP FOR MYSELF!
