Vintage Mexican Folk Art Hand Painted Carved Painted Wooden Fish 17", 2 side scenes slightly different. The item appears to be unknown artist and unmarked. Carved fish with another animal on top appears to be riding. The animal is perhaps a rabbit or a hare. Painted a scene on both sides of the fish with sun and clouds a donkey and people. On one side the donkey is brown and the other side is red.  Approximately 16.5 " - 17" inches in length. and height 5 - 5.5 inches.  Vintage handmade item with imperfections and vintage use wear. The tip of the fin has damage / chip broken piece missing piece and is raw wood Refer to last pictures. Vintage shows signs of age with no attempts at repairs and has been lightly cleaned with water. There are areas with light paint that may be showing the wood or could be spots with dirt.  Has a somewhat flat bottom edge that allows for shelf display.Refer to pictures for the design, color, measurements and examples of damage.
