Near fine in gilt-stamped sturdy gray textured cloth with embossed replica of the statue of Colonel Thayer: Father of the Military Academy to the cover, photographic endpapers. Internally clean with tight hinges.


Gilt embossed ownership of J. Duane Wethe (underclass student) to the front cover.

Notable from the graduating class was Second Lieutenant Alexander Ramsey Nininger, Jr. who was the first to have been awarded the Medal of Honor in World War II for his heroic actions on Bataan where he was killed. Another is
Peer deSilva worked for the CIA and was involved with security for the Manhattan Project (Atomic Bomb).

Listed in the undergraduates was Brigadier General Robin Olds who was a WWII fighter pilot and "triple Ace" and college football star elected to the College Hall of Fame.

Several other undergraduates went on to be Generals including
Bernard B. Rogers, class of 1943, 28th U.S. Army Chief of Staff (1976–1979).
