The original condition of the piece was poor... it had no intrinsic value to preserve. The professional studio restoration allows it to be enjoyed by another generation. It turned out great.

The workings are primitive. You turn it on and off by rotating the shade; this action screws the bulb in and out.

It comes with a period- contemporary MCM fiberglass-and-welting clip shade.

Stands 12.5 inches tall.
