The Dance of Life, is an album from R&B singer-songwriter/drummer/producer Narada Michael Walden. Unlike his last two releases, it featured several songs Walden co-wrote with other people (such as Allee Willis and guitarist Corrado "Pat" Rustici); unlike his discs up to this one, it featured only eight songs, not nine (yet was a half-minute longer than his last disc). I Shoulda Loved Ya reached No. 66 on the US Hot 100 and No. 4 on the R&B Chart. Tonight I'm Alright was also released as a single and reached No. 35 on the R&B Chart and No. 8 on the Dance Chart.
