This antique Baccarat bowl boasts an iridescent design and is signed by the maker. The piece hails from France and features a unique swirl pattern and the iridescent colors range from pale gold to pale pinks and are just beautiful.  The bowl has a brass ormolu footed pedestal and an openwork basket handle that snaps snugly onto the bowl.  The handle portion could be removed if you wish to use it as a bowl instead of a basket.  It was probably originally cemented on but it can now be removed ... it fits very tightly.  However, if you wish to carry it as a basket, I would definitely support it in case it would come off but it does not come off easily.  The bowl is signed on the bottom "Baccarat" and "Depose".  It is all original and is just stunning!  The brass has a nice patina that we have not polished ... that is left to the buyer.  Measures 6" diameter x 4" high (bowl) or almost 10" high to top of handle. Weight of this piece is a whopping 1 lb. 15 oz.!
