There is a 3-3/16" X 2-7/8" hole in the front cover, where a picture of ANNETTE FUNICELLO with DON UNDERHILL (?) had previously appeared -- plus wear & chipping to edges & corners, with creases, folds, scratches, lesser tears, indentations, rub-wear, soiling, etc -- this issue was by subscription, so there is also a top to bottom vertical crease, where the magazine was folded to fit inside the mailing sleeve -- plus a missing chunk at the front lower right corner -- plus fading black marker writing on the front cover -- plus tape residue & tape lifts on the rear cover -- plus a 1-1/8" vertical tear along the top spine edge, near a 9/16" tear at the front top left corner -- overall condition only FAIR
Many of the MOUSEKETEERS appearing in this 1956 issue had very short careers with WALT DISNEY -- JOHNNY CRAWFORD jumped from being a MOUSEKETEER to appearing regularly as "MARK McCAIN" (with his TV father "LUCAS McCAIN" on the TV series THE RIFLEMAN; and PAUL PETERSON reportedly had discipline problems with the crew and was released, only to show up shortly thereafter as "JEFF STONE" on the TV series "THE DONNA REED SHOW"; and it would still be about a dozen years later, until PAT MORROW joined the cast of the TV show "PEYTON PLACE," as RITA JACKS. And some never even appeared on the MICKEY MOUSE CLUB TV show. . ..
