A stunning Victorian, sterling silver filigree brooch from the 1950's possibly as early as the 1940's.
Three large petals are joined with five smaller petals that all meet at an intricate bud in the center. All of these are made with precise filigree work and very well done.
The center bud has stamen bursting through the center and the top of the pin has a twirling stem looping across two of the petals and ending with a silver ball.
This measures 2 1/8th of an inch in diameter. The great craftsmanship is left unknown, as there are no signatures or marks. The piece was acid tested as sterling silver and weighs 7g.
It is in excellent condition. The clasp is basic and perfectly functional.
