Illustrated throughout by Heather Pearson. Each month begins with a decent-sized poem, and each day of the year contains a philosophical verse thought, inspiration verse, or short poem by McKuen. A presentable SIGNED collectible. Short crease to the corner tip of one page, else very nearly fine and firm in brown linen over creamy-sand boards with gilt embossed titles to the spine, brown-and-yellow headband and tail-band; in a very good dust jacket with some short shelf-edge tears and mild crimps, minuscule nicks to the upper and lower spine edges, and a touch of fading to the spine panel; original printed $9.95 price still intact to the front inner flap which show a one-inch tear from the lower edge.
