Antique Ladies Leather Suede Shoes Circa 1900 Gray Boots Lace-Up Beaded Cut-Outs
Antique shoes, likely circa 1900 - 1910.
Sueded leather, kind of a taupe-stone-gray color.
Lace-up pump heels with cut-outs and tiny beads along the lace-holes. Also, larger beads at the toes. The laces themselves are very frayed. There is a lot of staining along the cutwork from the beads, which may have been iron and rusted. Many of the beads are missing, but they sure left their marks behind!
These measure approximately 9.25" from toe to heel and approximately 2.75" at the widest. The heel is approximately 12.75" tall.
The insides of each shoe are marked: 36 114426
Pre-owned. Condition issues include discoloration, staining, missing beads, frayed laces, wear to the soles, tears, etc.
I acquired these from a museum of Victorian fashion in Tombstone, Arizona when the owner closed the museum for his retirement.
