This is an eel sculpture made of copper, possibly a letter opener.  It measures 12 3/4” long by 2” at the widest point by 1” high.  A label attached reads “COPPER EEL MADE IN ENGLAND IN THE EARLY 1800'S.”  One of the fins is bent back and has a small crack but appears almost as though it was made that way.  There are a few very light scratches but otherwise it is in very good condition.
