🌱 Characteristics: These plants are perennial dwarfs, typically growing to around 50cm (20 in) in height. The mixed color palette includes vibrant shades such as red, white, pink, apricot, and purple. They boast large, densely packed flowers with multiple petals.
🌱 Versatile Uses: These seeds are perfect for enhancing various landscapes, whether near buildings, alongside rockeries, or as charming additions to flower beds and lawns. They can be planted in rows or clusters for a captivating visual display. Moreover, they thrive in pots and can be utilized for cut flowers, floral arrangements, bouquets, and decorative baskets.
🌱 Adaptability: Bellfarm® Dwarf Dual Alcea Mixed Seeds prefer full sun but can tolerate partial shade. They thrive in cool climates and are moderately shade-tolerant, exhibiting their strongest growth in areas with dappled sunlight. Their robust root system provides resilience against cold temperatures, while their ability to endure dry spells makes them suitable for various environmental conditions. However, they are sensitive to waterlogging. These plants are cold-resistant and thrive in cool, temperate climates. They grow best in fertile, deep, well-draining sandy soil rich in organic matter.
🌱 Planting Instructions: For optimal results, choose fertile, well-draining soil with good aeration and water retention. Sandy loam soils with added organic fertilizers or composted chicken manure are ideal for promoting soil fertility. Prior to planting, soak the seeds for 24 hours to accelerate germination. Plant 1-2 seeds per hole with a spacing of approximately 15cm (6 in) between each seed. After planting, cover with a layer of mulch to conserve moisture and lightly press down to ensure firm contact with the soil.
