So this has been a tough one to ID. We only had the ZS (or potentially SZ just to throw a curve ball). It looks Southwestern/NA but we could not find a known maker using those initials and that font. There are a few other examples with that mark out there but no one else can ID it either.


We believe there is silver content as a scratch acid test yielded a creamy blue color which means less than sterling (.925). Likely around .800 silver give or take based on just the color. See photo.


It does have a ding/dent on the top which you can see but doesn’t photograph well. While noticeable, it’s not disruptive really and since silver is so soft, it would make sense.
