The cabomba also know as the Carolina Fanworth has feathery green leaves with are divided into narrow segments. It is a densely growing plant that makes for a wonderful natural looking background in a planted tank. Cabomba does best when grown in neutral water under moderate lights. Provide at least 2 watts per gallon of water. The temperature ideal for this plant is in a range between 72F to 82 F. These plants are very hardy but leaf drop is usually a sign of poor water conditions. Cabomba can be easily propagate by cutting a section of the stem and plant that section on the substrate of your tank. For a more pleasant display plant the cabomba on the background and corners of your tank
