I hung out at The Brickskeller in 1968, it was a tavern and hotel located in Washington, D.C. near Dupont Circle and on the edge of Georgetown.

Back in the day it was the center of the beer culture for decades.
It opened in 1957 replacing the former occupant, The Robert Peter Inn.
The hotel remains open as a small European-Style inn offering single and double rooms
menu when closed measures 11 x 8.5 inches
menu when opened measures 12 x 17 inches
There was a beer list of thousands of beers from around the world.
Their pub food was the best.
