This is a VERY hard to find set of three little vintage Shafford Blue Christmas Musical Angel figurines.
Made in Japan.
They are so adorable!
They each play a musical instrument - cymbals, a violin, and a guitar.
Charming hand painted matte dark blue gowns with gold painted-on details, and white capes.
Lovely sweet faces, with ponytail hairdos, and little gold bows.
Gold slippers.
They have the number 2750 on the bottom, and a foil "Japan" sticker.
I believe they date to the 1950s.
They are in wonderful condition - no chips, fleabites, or cracks.
The one (guitar) does have slight wear to the blue paint.
They have some very minor crazing that is not noticeable.
From a smoke-free home.
