Capt. Tom Bridges was a Confederate soldier who enlisted as a boy and served in Ward's Tennessee Regiment under John Morgan, of Morgan's Raiders.  He became a prisoner of war during one of Morgan's raids into Indiana and Ohio. 

This book is told by his great-grandson, John Bridges, who puts himself in his great-grandfathers place and tells of his life.
