Artist Details: An architect who wanted to design buildings in F.L.Wright tradition? who wanted to work outside the lines? For years Artist Roger Evans made his living as a draftsman, translating architectural designs into 3D illustrations. As an escape, he turned to humorous sculpture. By placing a little boy wearing a 10-Gallon stetson on the back of a pony painted to look like a Southwestern landscape & adding wheels to the base and a pull cord at the end....Roger had transformed his Painted pony to a Children's Pull Toy.
TOPP more info: Each edition is 10,000 ponies. (1E, 2E, etc) Wound Up Time on the Range had only 8600 total ponies minted ONLY 1 Mint...for the whole world, making her one of the rarest. First edition Black Boxes are a premium. They produce editions or partial editions as long as they sell. Rare ponies have 1 edition, some have as many as 15. Make sure to keep all the materials for Wound Up: her box, styrofoam, story tag.. because they are valuable.
