Vintage Ballou Reg'd Brooch / Pin Angel Deep Purple/Red Gem and Clear Gems

This brooch measures about 1". Clasp in working order. Gem is very dark and looks more red in some lights more purple in others. Some marks to gem. Some darkening and tarnish to rear. Pin back has heavy tarnish/discoloration.

Preowned vintage brooch/pin, sold as shown - I am unsure of material type(s) because of this. Pictures show different angles for you to review - while I attempt to note any defects, some tarnish/signs of wear may be visible that are not otherwise stated.
