Description
This is a fabulous vintage 1950's Emma Domb two piece wedding or prom/party dress in white tulle and lace.
Marked a size 12, BUT MUCH SMALLER IN MODERN SIZES. Approximate modern size 4. 34" bust. Please check measurements.
White tulle and lace.
Set consists of a strapless full-skirted dress and a sheer short-sleeved nylon chiffon and lace overblouse.
THE GOWN
has a strapless bodice is taffeta with sheer nylon chiffon overlay, with boning and a sweetheart neckline, bordered with lace.
Skirt is three tiers of gathered tulle with wide lace insets in between the layers.
Back metal zip.
Attached tulle "petticoat" for fullness.
Taffeta lining.
There are little thread loops at front waist to hook overblouse onto.
Taffeta hanger loops.
THE OVERBLOUSE
is sheer nylon chiffon, with ruched short cap sleeves, round neckline, covered buttons and loops down the back, and lace band at waist.
Long darts at waist for shaping.
Hooks at 2 points on front hem to hook onto loops on dress.
In beautiful vintage condition. No damage, no issues - near pristine.
