Stunning return after the first two solo projects from the ex-Bongos member, and could be some of his best.  If you loved the Bongos, you will not be disappointed.  Strong material benefits from down to earth production values combined with some great string arrangements (Miss Jean), female vocals (Jill Sobule) create a well rounded whole.  Highlights: the loose jamming of Waiting for the Train, the psychedelic twinge and twang of Forbidden, and the funky Law of the Jungle, are just a few of the possibilities from this great example of songwriting talent from an artist who  should be far better known than he is.  One of the best!
