This is an ORIGINAL ANTIQUE ENGAGEMENT RING that was made in the ART DECO style during the late 1930s. It is centrally set with 1 *OLD TRANSITIONAL CUT DIAMOND of H - I color, SI2 to SI3 clarity that weighs approx. 1.10 ct. This diamond has 2 pinpoint carbon spots that are NOT readily visible, you must intently study the diamond to find one - THIS DIAMOND IS VERY CLEAR and LOOKS FABULOUS ON THE HAND ... I promise it will not disappoint! The diamond measures 6.45 - 6.55 in diameter by 3.84 mm deep. *The Old Transitional cut is the antique cut that is closest to the modern brilliant cut in regards to proportions and light return. It is also known as the Early Modern or Early American Cut.
The STEPPED SHOULDERS of the ring are set with 14 SINGLE CUT DIAMONDS of H-I-J color, VS2 to I1 clarity that weigh approx. .35 ctw. The total diamond weigh in the ring is approx. 1.44 ctw. The square head of the ring measures 10.1 mm north to south and it sits 6.5 mm high to the top of the diamond. The ring size is a 6.5 and it has been resized. The total weight is 5.5 grams. BEAUTIFUL SPARKLE, FINE QUALITY with a CLASSIC ART DECO ENGAGEMENT DESIGN! I had a hard time getting good pics because the ring is very shiny and sparkly and reflective of the photo environment.
