TIFFIN 1920s SILKY SATIN BLACK POPPY VASE Small Ovoid Shape 5 ½”

Deeply embossed large poppies (or high relief) adorn all sides on a slightly ovoid shaped black vase in a satin almost silky looking finish that has not been reproduced

Created using a dark amethyst glass, there is no loss of black on this high shouldered, gorgeous vase

Beautiful accent piece for small spaces at 5 ½” tall and approx 6 ½”diameter at the shoulder

 Condition: No chips, nicks or repairs, (unusual in the fact it has such a high relief pattern!) There is however what appears to be a manufacturing blemish on the upper rim (found while under light) and a couple faint paint rubs (see pic 6)

The Tiffin Glass Company produced poppy vases in the 1920s -1930s and is one of the most collected pieces of the Elegant Glass Period
