The Feebeez was an all-girl garage band based in Albuquerque, New Mexico during the 1960s. They are known for their single which features two original songs by guitarist Sharon Westcott: "Walk Away," notable for its quick, unusual beat, and "Season Comes," which has a moody vibe. The band was part of Albuquerque's vibrant garageband scene during that era.
It appears that this 45 RPM was signed by their Manager (and father of the drummer) Ed Stange (1934-2005). Ed Stange was a notable figure in Albuquerque's music scene, primarily recognized for his contributions in the 1960s and 1970s. He financed the production of a single for the local band The Feebeez, which included his daughter, Sherry Stange, on drums. The single featured two original songs by guitarist Sharon Westcott: "Walk Away" and "Season Comes." It was released on the Stange label, catalog number R-2216.
In 1983, Ed Stange founded Krazy Kat, a record store in Albuquerque. The store operated for 32 years, offering a diverse selection of music to the local community. Krazy Kat closed its doors in June 2017.
Shipping Policy
Due to ever increasing postage costs, shipping is charged separately rather than hidden in the item's price. This method is more equitable, allowing customers closer in proximity to benefit from reduced shipping costs. For orders with multiple items, I'm happy to offer combined shipping (which can further save on shipping expenses). Returns are accepted, provided the item is returned in the same condition it was received.
