Gorgeous vintage Mid-Century 1940's 1950's off white full slip is dripping with feminine lace. This is below the knee in length and has adjustable shoulder straps. There is lace and ruched chiffon inserts at the neckline/bra area and hem. Made of silky Nylon, it is ultra-glam and feels great against your skin. 

The color is off white or what I would call antique white. Perfect to wear underneath midi dresses or skirts, and pretty enough for special occasion. Also great as a nightgown. This came from an estate and I love it. Another vintage treasure that has beautifully survived from an era long passed. 

Condition is true vintage, previously owned, condition is consistent with age, gentle use, and careful preservation. Still in wonderful condition for its age. I didn't find any picks in the Nylon when I held it up to the light, so if there are any there, they are minor. There is a hand-sewn repair on the ruched chiffon insert on one side and one of the shoulder straps has been sewn so it's not adjustable, but stitches could be removed. Not really noticeable when it was on my mannequin. This has metal slides on the ribbon straps. There is also a small area by one strap where the lace has separated, which can be repaired with a few hand stitches but I will leave that, as well as any changes to the other hand stitched area up to the buyer. There are some pinhead size holes (like fleabites) in the chiffon at the hem, but in my opinion nothing that is unusual for something this old, and I don't think they detract from the beauty. It's exceptionally feminine and still very wearable. No tags are present but this is Nylon and measures as size 36. Shown on mannequin who measures 32-25-34 and there was enough room for 34 to 36 at the bust.

Maker is unknown. No tags present, unbranded. This is very good quality and well made.

Please take a few minutes to measure a similar garment you already own that fits you well, and compare those measurements to the measurements given to insure proper fit. Length is about 47 inches from top of shoulder strap to hem

Lace at hem is about 5 inches wide.
