Gorgeous vintage silver plated serving tray with lead mounted handles,
by "LIPMAN-LEVINTER INDUSTRIES - Toronto, Ontario - Canada.
The inside of the tray has a flower decor.
The plate is marked with "VIKING PLATE - MADE IN CANADA - E.P. BRASS - LEAD MOUNTS".
"Viking Plate" is the registered trade mark for the Lipman Levinter
Industries Limited, who were situated at 41 Peter Street, Toronto,
Ontario in the 1930-1950 period.
The serving tray is approximately:
16.5 inch (42 cm) x 12 inch (30 cm) x 1/2 inch (1.5 cm) (Handles not counted).
This vintage tray is used.
It has some usual traces of wear, included finer scuffs and some scratches (mainly on the outside bottom).
It has been polished, but there could still be some tarnish spots here and there.
The two dark lines on the darker pictures are only shadow from some objects reflecting of the tray (not darkened lines on the tray).
