Cap is new. It is generic brand, not made by Pentax, but it is for Pentax PK M KA KR manual focus lenses. It will fit Newer Pentax DA lenses as well. This cap is fully operational and functions as intended.  I would rate it an 10, on a scale from 1 to 10.
