Vincent J DeFilippo has created Marco, the young boy, who is dressed up as Christopher Columbus as he gets ready for his performance in the school play. Marco carries a map of the New World, which he presents at court to Queen Isabella of Spain.

Marco has been sculpted by master sculptor Vincent J Defillipo as part of the celebration of the 500th anniversary of Christopher Columbus‘s discovery of America.

Marco is an officially licensed product of the sociedad Estatal Quinto centenario of Spain, which is the official commission of the government of Spain for the 500th anniversary of the discovery of America.

Each doll is hallmarked on the back of its neck with the official logo of this commission along with the addition number.
