Filter ring is in very good condition. I don't see any dents. Ring has some scratches from use. It works good. It is fully operational and functions as intended.
I would rate it an 8 on a scale of 1 to 10.
Please note that it ring has 49mm rim, and it holds one series 7 filter. It is missing retaining ring.
