This may fit more Sunfires than the 1996 model year, but I know this retractor seat belt will fit that model year in the sedan (4-door) version only.  That being said, that model year was made in two styles.  The metal bar was short on some and long on the others.  This is the longer metal bar.  Make sure you have the right one or it won't work.  If you need me to measure the metal bar, just ask, and I will gladly do so.  This is the graphite gray color.  It was taken off a vehicle with VIN of 3G2JB1245TS906280.
