A G.A.R. Grand Army of the Republic Night Banquet Menu & Program in Boston Massachusetts on May 20, 1901. At the Tremont Temple of the Young Mens Baptist Social Union. The Guest of the Union and Speakers were General Curtis Guild Jr. and Hon. Geo A Marden.

Curtis Guild, Jr. (February 2, 1860 – April 6, 1915) was the 43rd Governor of Massachusetts, serving from 1906 to 1909. Prior to his election as governor, Guild served  as a Brigadier General in the Massachusetts Volunteer Militia, seeing active duty in Cuba during the Spanish American War. He was a friend of  Theodore Roosevelt, with whom he attended Harvard University.

George Augustus Marden (August 9, 1839 – December 19, 1906) was a journalist, attorney and  politician who served as  Massachusetts Treasurer and as assistant treasurer of the United States..

The menu program has an embossed American Flag and the 4 interior pages are held into the menu cover with red, white and blue cord. The menu measures about 3 5/8" x 5 1/8" when closed. Includes an interesting arrays of fod as well as all 4 verses of America.
