William B Kerr & Company

Sterling Silver 7 piece Vanity set

THESE HAVE SOME USAGE WEAR, STORAGE WEAR, AND NATURAL AGEING, THERE ARE A FEW SMALL DINGS, SOME SCRATCHES, AND DISCOLORATION OF THE SILVER.

These are Antiques from before 1927. William B Kerr & Co. were absorbed into the Gorham Silver Family in 1927. Their hallmark of the single bit axe with the wire bound handle was used until 1927.

The base for the nail buffer, which is the only piece that can be accurately weighed is 45.3g of Sterling Silver, which at current values makes the base alone worth $40 plus in Silver Scrap. I have no idea what the combined weight of the rest of the Sterling is, but it has to be at least 13-15 Troy ounces of silver, making this worth somewhere around $300+ in silver scrap weight.
