With an expanded capacity up to 33 lb./15kg, this scale can be used for precise portioning, measuring baking ingredients, weighing foods for dieting, and even weighing heavy meats (such as a stuffed turkey or rolled roast) to determine exact cooking times. The key advantage to this scale is the innovative HOLD feature. When using a scale with a high capacity, it is expected that a large bowl, plate or container needs to be used for weighing your food. But when the bowl, plate or container is covering up the readout that is where you need help and the HOLD feature comes in. Simply weigh your food, press the HOLD button and the weight of the food is held on the display even when the bowl, plate or container is removed. No stretching, straining or wrangling to see the readout again! Also, features a clean glass platform with black back paint and brushed stainless steel accents for a modern, elegant look on the counter. The glass platform will not stain or absorb odors and is tempered for safety. The readout is a brilliant blue color with large 1.0” digits to make viewing a snap. The electronic components are calibrated to the 0.1 oz./2g, getting the accuracy and precision you want is a snap. The scale offers flexible weighing options: 33lb x 0.1 oz./530 oz. x 0.1 oz./ 15kg x 2g/15000g x 2g.
