This vintage Chinese porcelain Famille Rose butterfly vase planter is a stunning decorative piece that showcases intricate butterfly designs in vibrant colors.
This piece would make an excellent planter, as it has a (drainage) hole drilled in the bottom. I recently purchased it at an estate sale, and believe it's original purpose might have been to be the base of a lamp. It would be quite easy to convert it into a lamp, if one so desired.
It is in VERY GOOD CONDITION ~ No nicks, chips, cracks, flea bites, or damage. Does have a few scuffs/marks commensurate with normal aging.
Measuring 12" in height, 10.75" in width, and 5.25" in depth, this piece originates from China.
It is marked in red with a series of Chinese characters on the bottom.
