This company started in Downtown Chicago in 1931 and is still in business in suburban Carol Stream. Thompson was known as the MOST CORRUPT MAYOR in AMERICA. He failed reelection in 1932 so this ashtray was probably for the 1936 Governor's Race which he also lost.
