Vintage Northwood LG Wright Amber Glass Reproduction Tree Trunk Pump & Trough Creamer and Open Sugar
This vintage creamer and sugar set is a beautiful addition to any vintage glassware collection. The set includes a pump (creamer) and trough (open sugar).
The pattern features a textured tree bark with tiny hobnail design.
Sure to add a touch of rustic charm to any table setting.
Includes tree trunk footed 'pump' and footed 'wood' trough.
Pump measures approx. 6 1/2" tall x 2" rim diameter x 3 3/4" across the bottom.
Trough measures 5" long x 3" wide across bottom feet x 2 5/8" wide at top. It is 2 1/4" high.
The set is unmarked, but is a later reproduction of Northwood's classic era's tree trunk pump, which was introduced around 1912. Northwood never actually made a trough to go with the pump, but it was added in later years, for LG Wright by Westmoreland Glass Company. This set is believed to have been made by Hsinchu / AA Imports, in the 1980s, using an old Westmoreland mold.
Set is in VERY GOOD CONDITION ~ The only thing I find wrong with it, is that the trough has a bit of wobble when sitting on a flat surface. Doesn't affect anything, but I wanted to make note of it. No nicks, chips, cracks, flea bites, or damage. Perhaps some excess glass at the mold seams, and a few typical strawmarks/lines from the manufacturing process.
This set would be perfect for collectors or those who appreciate vintage glassware.
