Card was written by T. L. to his folks Mrs. P. McEnerey in Galt CA. The message reads:

Dear Folks,

Sorry I vould not be at the wedding. Gertrude should have told me will send a gift someday. Best ever T.L.

T.L. is Thomas Lawrence McEnerey, Gertrude was his sister. Mrs Patrick McEnerey and Bridget (Flaherty) was his mother.

Thomas b1881 moved from Galt in 1906  when he went to work on the Railroad. In 1910 he was living in listed Dunsmuir CA, in 1920 he was listed in Mott CA,  in 1930 Altamont OR. By 1950 he was  in Klamath Falls Oregon we he remained until his death. He was married to Thelma H Brewster McEnerey. In 1929 they had a daughter Colleen who later married Wallace Stinson. Colleen and Wallace had a so William who died at 5 days old. Colleen died in 1986, Wallace died in 2012.
