Jesse Owens First Day of Issue Stamp and Commemorative Envelope 1998 One of 185

Released and postmarked in Cleveland, Ohio on the First Day of Issue on Sepetember 10, 1998, is this commemorative postage stamp of the famous Olympian Jesse Owens. The is part of the century celbration of famous events for the decades of the previous 100 years and this one is from the 1930's. This envelope style was only used for 185 First Day postmarks and the photo is of one of the two we have in stock (at the timeof this listing). It is in new condition and comes in a protective plastic protector just as was when we acquired them at the time of their original issue, and they have been stored in a smoke and pet free environment.
