Antoninianus 23 mm, 4.20 g. Serdica mint, First officina, struck c. 274-275 AD.

IMP AVRELIANVS P AVG ~
Unabridged legend: Imperator, Aurelianus Pius Augustus. Translation: Supreme commander, Aurelian, pius emperor. Radiate and cuirassed bust of Aurelian to right.

Reverse: RESTITVT ORBIS /✶/KAA Female figure standing on left facing to right, crowning Aurelian, standing on the right and facing left; holding spear; six pointed star below between; mintmark in exergue below ground line.

Ref. RARE Unlisted in RIC.  cf. RIC V 296 with slightly different obv. legend and RIC 298 with unlisted officina letter.

Extremely Fine, attactive medium olive gray patina, a light wash of remaining original silvering. PLEASE NOTE~Highly reflective surfaces may give the impression that there is lots of bright silvering but this is a result of the lighting.
