Michael Buble - Babalu (CD 1st Release Baba1999 Mega Rare Out Of Print Near MINT
ULTRA-RARE and long OUT-OF-PRINT independent CD BaBa1999
This is Michael Buble's first album, released after the impossible to find First Dance EP
In 2001, the singer even named his second independently produced album “BaBalu” in honor of the lounge where he had sung every Sunday and Monday night for over two years beginning in 1997.
These were only sold off the stage at BaBalu, a local Vancouver nightclub. This was where you went to see Michael Buble when he was just a local star (long before he became the mega star he is today). The club itself long ago went up in smoke, later to replaced by another bar.
No one knows how many of these were actually sold before the fire took the remainder
There are actually two variations on the original CD. The CD itself was the same, but there are variations on the cover inserts. The back cover of this one is as pictured in the 4th scan. It contains a track listing and management info overtop a picture of Buble performing.
On the back cover of the tri-fold front insert is a listing of the title tracks with composer credits over a picture of Buble smoking a cigar.
CD itself is pictured in the 3rd scan. It is in near mint condition, no visible marks.
Word has it that this will never be legitimately re-released, either at the insistence of Buble himself or his present record company

Many of the CD's were purchased over the years from used CD stores which may have polished or buffed the CD's to look like new. For most of them I am unable to tell which ones have been polished as they look like new to me.

All CD’s come in a plastic jewel case that was not broken or cracked when sent to you. I take care and put it between cardboard and in a bubble envelope. However, depending on the postal worker, jewel cases can get broken. They are cheap to replace, about 40 cents each. If your CD jewel case arrives broken please do not hold it against me. Thank you.
