I was given this doll from an Uncle back in 1985, he told me he got her from the Island of the Dolls when he was in Mexico in 1961, which means she is older then 1961, but don't have the correct age, her name is Chinchilla Cindy and as you can see she has some staining on her but they are the original stains from when I received her in 1985, he said he took her off of a hanging tree...I do believe my Uncle but I do not have athentic proof of his story on how he got her...as for odd things happening since having her, I have had some strange things happen over the years with Chinchilla Cindy, voices, my named being called, slamming doors, breathing on my neck etc... I do feel though that she is happy to be off that island...

I did have other dolls, so it is possible the other dolls have caused those events as well.she is 9 in tall
