For your consideration is a vintage 1950's German onion box (Zwiebeln).  This is a primitive wood box with holes in the side so that it can breath.  It is painted green with the decal of the onions on the front.  Measures almost 8" wide, almost 5" tall with the hanger and with the hanger it is 8 1/4" and 4 1/4" deep.  A great vintage item that can be used for a lot of different things.
