Description
This is a very charming pair of vintage chintz candleholders in the most luscious exotic bird pattern.
They are unmarked, but I believe they are Longton Winterton Chintz, Made in England, in the 1930s.
Unusual lavender purple background with sweet yellow roses, foliage, and colorful exotic birds in blues and red.
Black trim and lapis blue candle cups.
Just gorgeous!
They are unmarked, save for the number "7" on one, and a small green mark on the other.
One measures 6 5/8" tall and the other is 6 1/2" tall.
Just a darling set that will add a vintage charm to your table or buffet.
In excellent condition - no chips. No crazing on the outside, very light crazing on the ivory inside, which doesn't show.
Please note, One is a tiny bit taller than the other by about an eighth of an inch.
From a smoke-free home.
