Genuine Hand-Carved Alabaster Trinket Box - Made in Italy.  There are tiny chips on some of the exterior corners and base, the lid does not stay open on it's own, there is a seam on the inside of the box and on the outside base.  The seams are not at the same place and do not line up.  The base feels sturdy.   Please use pictures as part of the description.  It measures app. 6" x 4" x 2 1/4" (exterior) and 5 1/4" x 3 1/4" x 1 1/4"  (interior).
