Vintage Pink Glass 2 Piece Dove Bird on Nest Basket Lidded Candy Dish Vanity Box

Measures approx. 4" H x 6.5" L x 4.75" W.

Add a touch of elegance to your home decor with this beautiful pink glass candy dish featuring an all-over embossed dove bird on a nest design.  The candy dish has one compartment, making it ideal for storing sweets, trinkets, or other small items. 

Marked on the bottom with the mark of an "H" in a diamond. Though similar to the Heisey mark, this is a newer imported reproduction, manufactured by Hsinchu / AA Imports, made using an old Westmoreland mold. Just wanted to mention this. It is priced taking this factor into consideration.

GOOD CONDITION Overall ~ PLEASE NOTE: Does have a hairline crack about 1.25" long in the top half, inside the glass, beneath the tail feathers, and has a single  chip on the inner rim of the base. Neither of these flaws are so noticeable that they detract from overall appearance. The chip isn't really visible from the outside view, and the location of the hairline makes it unnoticeable for the most part, unless you are looking for it. (The last 3 photos show these minor flaws, circled in red. The hairline is shown from 2 angles - both outside and inside.) No other nicks, chips, cracks, flea bites, or damage. The only other issue I find is the top half don't nestle down tightly on the base. (It turns up a bit at the ends.)
