Take a step back in time when these guys were all the go.  The ruler, Zig Zaged / folded down to a small footprint so it could go with you anywhere without poking a eye out.  Not to mention Stanley products were highly rated with quality and craftsmanship.  This is double sided and reads to 72".  This folded up measures approx 8 x 2 x 5/8".
